FAQ

How to start the timer?

Click the “Start” button to begin timing. Once the timer starts, the button will change to “Pause,” allowing you to pause or resume at any time.

Which export formats are supported?

Supports exporting in TXT, CSV, and JSON formats. TXT is ideal for quick viewing, CSV can be opened and analyzed in Excel, and JSON is suitable for programmatic processing. All formats include complete time and lap information.

Is the stopwatch data saved automatically?

Data is not saved automatically. It will be lost once you close the page. It’s recommended to use the export feature to save important data.

How to use the lap feature?

Click the “Lap” button while timing to record the current time. The lap time shows the duration from the last lap (or start) to the present, while the total time shows the cumulative time from the start of timing to now. Each time you click lap, the timer resets for the next lap, but the total time continues to accumulate.

What should be noted when resetting the stopwatch?

Clicking the “Reset” button will immediately clear all time data, lap records, and timer status, and cannot be undone. After resetting, the stopwatch returns to its initial state, with total time and lap times set to zero. It’s recommended to export important timing data before resetting to avoid data loss.
